The deal, announced earlier this year, will integrate Wiz into Google Cloud and marks the largest acquisition in Google’s history. According to Reuters (www.reuters.com), the DOJ clearance is one milestone but approvals are still needed in other jurisdictions before the transaction closes. Wiz CEO Assaf Rappaport called the review an important step toward completion, while a Google spokesperson said the company expects the deal to close in 2026 after meeting all regulatory conditions.
